New Tweetdeck setting

When it comes to Twitter clients, I’m a Tweetdeck fangurl. I’ve tried out HootSuite and CoTweet, but always return to Tweetdeck for its notification setup (just like email, which I love for consistency’s sake), easy column viewing and overall functionality.
I discovered a new setting on Tweetdeck last week and wanted to share. You can now view the number of followers a person has in each or his or her tweets. Follower counts mean little to none to me when it comes to interacting on Twitter, but it’s interesting to view the reach of information that’s being shared on my network.
Here’s how:
1. Go to settings – the wrench button in the top right corner on Tweetdeck
2. Select the “Twitter” tab along the left side
3. Check the “Show follower counts in tweets” option

Friday Find: Floral gypsy blouse
What: A very Rachel Zoe-esque floral Bisou Bisou blouse from JC Penney (note to Raleigh-ites: The North Hills JC Penney has some awesome, awesome finds. Expect future Friday Finds from the store, including a watermelon pink ABS dress and a black peplum cocktail ditty.)
Scored for: $8 on clearance. I love blouses like this to offset the slim fit of skinny jeans, and I especially love the covered black buttons and the silver chain detail that threads through its collar.

Even though I have a backlog of country music autobiographical (here’s looking at you Waylon, George and Willie) and historical books decorating my room right now, I had to add one more to the list:
I often find books like these hard to get through – I’m more of a random crime novel kinda gal – but the subject matter fascinates me. They’re like the Vogues to my Lucky magazines – books I need to be reading, want to be reading but don’t devour in the same way.
That ends now.
